Residents, families, colleagues and members of the local community came together to celebrate a remarkable milestone as Lammermuir House Care Home marked 40 years of providing dedicated care and support in Dunbar.

Originally opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 30th July 1986, Lammermuir House has spent four decades at the heart of the local community, offering compassionate, person-centred care and creating a place residents are proud to call home.

To commemorate the occasion, the home hosted a vibrant 1980s-themed celebration, paying tribute to the decade in which Lammermuir House first opened. Residents, staff, families and guests enjoyed an afternoon of live entertainment, music, dancing and nostalgic fun, creating new memories while reflecting on the home's rich history.
